Meanwhile, the mysterious attackers were taking their prisoners through the forest. They did not know the way through the forest very well, and they got lost several times. As the sun rose, the two leaders of the attackers discussed their plans.
"Now you should leave us, Sir Maurice," the Templar said to De Bracy. "Then you can come back for the second part of your plan and rescue Rowena from her 'attackers'."

Soon they reached Torquilstone, the castle of Front-de-Boeuf. The castle was surrounded by a deep moat, which could only be crossed by passing through a barbican and going across a drawbridge.

Here, the prisoners were separated and taken to different parts of the castle. Isaac begged the guards to let his daughter go, but instead they took Rebecca away, and dragged Isaac down to the dungeon.
