Born for silk

An Urban Legend From The Cradle

Endigos like to tell stories around the fire…

Here one goes:

As no one living has ever seen the Missing Moon or the stars, many do not believe that there is a giant rock in the sky surrounded by twinkling lights.

Legend has it, that the moon is actually the face of an evil spirit that watches all. And if you ever see the face, even for a second while the Redwind parts, it will see you, too, and enter your body.

It will use your body to kill children and scoop out their eyes. As children’s eyes glow and sparkle. The Missing Moon will then take the eyes back to the sky. But soon, the sparkle in the children's eyes will go out and so the Moon will watch again, until someone looks back, so it can collect more eyes.

Don't look for the Missing Moon.
