Maybe a few days are what I need with her.
Or weeks.
Potentially months if I can’t get enough of the way my name falls over her lips when my cock is inside her.
It’s a damn good thing I’ve cleared my schedule at work already. My only focus right now is standing across the room from me, teasing me without even knowing it.
“Shit, I didn’t even notice the time,” Gabriel mentions as he pulls his phone from his pocket. “Ivy’s late-“
The doorbell rings, a loud, heavy tone that can be heard no matter where you are in this place.
“Or maybe she’s not.”
It’s about fucking time. My eyes lock on Mason where he stands with Ava, and I’m silently willing him to walk her right out the door with Jase and the others following behind him.
Gabriel pushes to his feet beside me, and I glance up.
“Have fun on your date, son. Be sure to wrap it before you tap it.”
“Thanks, pops,” he grumbles.
“Hey, Gabe.”
Turning around, he lifts a brow in question.
“When she brings you back, be sure to go directly to your car and not to my door. My house is closed for the rest of the night.”
“But what if -“
“Closed,” I say, cutting him off. There are no ifs, ands or buts about it. These assholes need to leave.

The asshole grins as if I won’t make good on my silent threat, but then he nudges Sawyer with his elbow. Sawyer nudges Taylor, and Mason takes the hint when everybody starts making their excuses for why they need to leave
Of course, Ava takes her dear sweet time giving Luca a hug and all the typical girly shit. A giggle here. A touch on the arm there. The usual end of night conversation that takes for-fucking-ever.
Thankfully, Mason tugs her away and everybody moves past me to head to the door.
My stare never leaves Luca, and she turns, her eyes wide like a deer in headlights.
I can’t help the cocky grin that stretches across my face.
She wasn’t expecting the party to end early.
And she definitely didn’t prepare for what she would do when she was suddenly alone with me.
Luca thought she could hijack my friends, but the joke ended up being on her.
Rubbing my thumb across my bottom lip, I run my eyes slowly down her body. By the time I glance up again, she looks ready to run.
Good.
I hope that’s exactly what she does.
